I agree with Kieran -- bad idea to have one party in control of all three branches of government.

New Mexico Amendment to allow Idiots to vote goes down to defeat, yet they still elect Bill Richardson.:)

"Proposed Amendment 2 on the November 5th ballot... would alter the current wording on voter qualifications, which now reads, "except idiots, insane persons and persons convicted of a felonious or infamous crime."

Rip is right Thrawn. You crossed the line.

I'm kinda confused why you frequently feel the need to offer your opinion regarding US policy and politics anyhow. Not saying you don't have the right, just seems as if you had a vested interest.

WTF??  He started the whole country issue by stating that CANADA owed a debt of gratitude to the US for protecting us from terrorism.  Cripes.

Do you think that was more caustic than your likening the majority party in his/my country to the Nazis?

Nothing like a spirited political discussion to brighten up a Wednesday.

Jeb Bush is crooked.

Bill McBride is greedy.

That's why I voted for the third guy - so as to be distanced from being lumped into either of the parties!

By the way, Canada went into WW1 and WW2 well before us panty-waisted American pacifists did.  Well, except for the CAMCO-sponsored AVG, of course.  I guess its a good thing the Canadian culture is so much more advanced than the American side of the line. :p

talk about ungrateful..

let's see how happy and warm and fuzzy the canuks are when America dumps them by the wayside.

I mean, Canada's military sure won't do them any good.
