You can read the thread and get more info, but it is basically a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. It most probably will be able to double as an anti-tank weapon to some degree, but that will be risky at best. I would also guess that a couple of these on a base could take down ack with ammo to spare.

It is the thing that will change field capture procedures on both offense and defense.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

1,000 rounds? Where'd you hear that? German Tanks of WW2 has it listed as 4,120 rounds in four seperate magazines. Rate of fire in the neighborhood of 325 rounds per minute. All we need now are the super-quick fuses!

There is no quad barreled version of the Flak 38. Single barrel only for the Ostwind, and it turns our I was wrong; ammo load is 1,220 rounds. I was reading the predisessor's specs! Typo demon strikes again!
