If the slap is via hand - you need to look at the number of fingers used. Four fingers across the face is usually a good sign - however if the thumb is presented during the slap, she doesnt want any part of you. Try slapping her back - girls like this.

My wife doesn't slap me but she kicks me in the nuts if I piss her off like I did Thursday when someone asked me who was the nastiest lady I've ever been with. I said my wife was and I got kicked, but I have the feeling that if I would have named someone else as the nastiest woman I've ever met I would have gotten kicked twice as hard. Women...can't live with them, can't live with them.

The real question is will the person she's dating track you down and give you a firm lesson in what your nuts taste like.

Many a high schooler fall under this...and I've seen some real nasty fights over girls.

If she slaps you...then it's a good sign...if she punches you...that's not.

And if she de-balls you, then you've really got a keeper...as you're one step closer to marridge.

Yeah, it's always a good idea to find out beforehand if the girl you're being fresh with is a karate student. If she punches you, you could lose some teeth.
