Great fight way up there at 35k. took forever to get up there though. i thought we would never make it. that ta152's one hell of a climber at 20k + though.     ..... question......exactly how long did it take you guys to get all those b17's to 35k anyway?

a long frikken time.  enough time to down a case of beer anyway.

all in all it was one the most fun nights i have ever had in AH.

4 of the bombers made it to the target, one got all the way back to A26

Well, I lost a valueable Luftwaffe Ta 152 with only 2 assists to my credit, we climbed and climbed then Zig said we'd go level at 33k, I said to him we better make it 35k cuz I know the Dickweeds and TAS will be at least that high... so we finally get vis and...

We're still lower than you guys!!!!!

I just typed to Zig on the squad channel; "I told ya so"

Then I hadda merge, swoop, climb, roll left, roll right, invert, dive and die.

Well planned out mission by all parties involved, and a pretty good re-enactment of a late war intercept, makes the MA all the more fun cuz' of sorties like that!

I told our flight of 4 P-51D's...."remember guys....don't run off low chasin one plane...stay with the buffs and get them to the target".

I dove after the first 152 I saw...popped him and took off after another....hblair slowed that 152 and like a dweeb, I passed right before his eyes...dead I was

Perhaps I should practice what I preach?

I was proud of the others in our flight...they did it the correct way and helped the buff deliver the goods!

That was fun enough that I will bet more than three 13th TAS will make it a point to be up on Tues. nights

I remember one of our flights in Afrika Korps. I had my squad in there, drex was flying with us, we were on RW, I gave the usual advice, "Stay hi and fast guys, don't give 'em a chance!" Then I dive in and get splatted by sancho. 'Twas quite embarraskin'
