Here he is:

Johnny Barnes

He is there everyday..waving to people and telling them that he loves them. He isn't a crazy person or anything...he is deeply religious and a really nice guy who is always willing to chat if you see him on the street.

A few times I have been riding into work with work issues racing around inside my head or in a bad mood for whatever reason. I have looked up seen him and smiled...and in his small way he has brightened up my morning.

It is a small thing, but a nice thing.

I caught the end of the convesation and wondered what you guys were yapping about. Interesting! Its folks like that that turn a town into a community.

Nice - really nice. Would like to go there and wave back

We had a woman in our community that would walk down the road every morning with flowers in her hand, waving and smiling to everyone as they drove by. Brightened up many an early morning for me.....

Just an idea, how about we send Curval digital snap shots of us "waving", then Curval can print them out (on black and white) and give them to the guy?
