skuzzy please stop resetting the pizza map

Uh Yea, I would like to know what you mean?  I thought that maps were traditionally reset by players.

Other than sombody did not care for it. I remember when Lake Uterious was the hated map, and nobody Just reset it.

If Skuzzy had to make changes which resulted in the terrain changing, I am sure it was not intentional.  I know I have heard players in the past asking him to reset it and he, quite rightly, said No, it was not his place to do so.  I was disappointed to find the pizza map gone when I logged on last night, and was somewhat surprised to find we were up to the Baltic already, as I for one do enjoy playing in the pizza map and I'm sure many others do too.[/edit]

Peak hour fites are more fun on Pizza map(and on off hours too)

guys I very much doubt skuzzy is reseting the map because he or others dont want to play it.

As you know HTC is in the process of making large changes to its networks/pipelines/connections and skuzzy is the man whos responsible for most of it as he is part of HTC now.

I would have thought that skuzzy is merely making adjustments to improve performance.

for one thing the pizza map is the only large scale map and is possibly the fututre size for AH maps.For all you guys know there might be bugs or tests being done or even problems we know nothing about that mean skuzzy has to reset things.

To assume he's merely changing it so he doesnt have to play it is pretty dumb.

my guess it it was merely coincidence skuzzy reset the map during the pizza map and he probably wasnt aware when it restarted that it would go on to the next map in sequence.Hes probably buried in code and wires and hasnt got the time to worry about his favourite maps.

so you missed the pizza map once or twice? well if you ask me its not a major problem.
Every saturday for squad night for the last few tours it seems to be on the pizza map and I for one would like to see a few variations. If missing the odd sequence helps that then Im glad it happened.
Also look at the difference in time it takes to reset maps.

Mindanao and the pizza map are by FAR the longest running maps as they take so long to reset.If we were to have EQUAL TIME on each map, which incidently is much more fair, you would see much less of the pizza and mindanao maps.So just remember for those of us who dont like these maps we have had to suffer playing them much longer than you have had to suffer missing it for a round or two.If its all about whats fair for all I think you all have it your way if you like these maps.

I was one of people who asked Skuzzy to change it after a technical reset. This reset ment everything from the start at this map, and for me it usually means staying of playing for some time.

For me a best solution could be if with server reset admin can save ownership of country, so it back after reset.

Ladies and gentlemen, as I explained when online yesterday, I was resetting the server for maintenance.  I came in at about 8:00am and saw the map was pretty fresh, so I waited until 11:00am, went in and told everyone the server would be reset in an hour.  I was asked if the map would be restored.  I responded that is probably would not, and that I had no control on which map would be up after the restart.
At about 12:15pm, I come in and ask all perk rides to land and give people time to finish off sorties, I give my going once, twice thing just to make sure everyone is done, then I reset the server.

I waited as long as I could to do this.  It had to be done and it had to be done well before I was to finish my day, in case there were problems that had to be dealt with.  All, just to make sure the community is getting the best service I can give.

I do not bend to any players request to load a new map and will never do so.

I am locking this thread as I should not have to be wasting my time defending the work I do for this community, when one player decides to take something completely out of context and twists it into his own agenda.
