Wotan read ASAP
« on: November 22, 2002, 03:42:28 PM »
If anyone knows Wotan or may get in contact with him, I'd hate for him to continue, but he may have a virus on his computer.

I recieved an e-mail from him earlier today with an attachment Nov.zip, I've encountered this before, and it can spread VERY quickly. So if you can, let him know.
*to wotan* Unless you really meant to send me that, It had no body so I'm assuming its some sort of e-mail virus sent unintentional. So beware bud.

Are you sure it was from him? Most email worms forge the from address.

Ya I got two a few days ago, one from Wotan one from an address I didn't recognise. Have Anti-V software running on my machine but to make sure downloaded another one on a freebie and ran that too. Showed clean also.

Subject header on mine was, 'Do not remove this copyright notice'

Will track it down if I get another one. Deleted the first without even looking at it.
