Do you have the service packs installed?
If not, it will fix your vid probs, has for many.

 Hope it helps :)

I haven't seen a mention of your OS.  Blkfalcon is right, if you have win2k you need to install the service packs.  I don't like the 40.72 nvida drivers, found that they caused ctd's and other performance issues, but YMMV

Yep, the NVidia 40.72's are not as stable as the 30.82's.

Think I'll try the 30.82's... I've been getting a CTD once in a while and occasionally a complete hard reboot... maybe the 40's aren't all they are cracked up to be...
