Beetle, how misguided you are.

Nothing could be further from the truth in his suggestion.

He isn't telling ANYONE how to play; can't you see even that?

He merely suggested that a weapon, which WAS used in WW2 combat by the US, be included in the game as a perk. It would then be up to the individual player to decide if he wanted to use his perks and risk them on the way to target.

It's an idea that matches the gist of what has been in my sig block here for years.

Individual choice in using provided game pieces/options. What could possibly be wrong with that? You have a real tough time with that "individual freedom to choose" stuff don't you?

You might try a more structured game...... something like bridge maybe?

But, anyway, you feel free to go ahead and tell him how it was in WB and how you think it could be better here if only folks would listen to your wise counsel.

:D

Please give the poor fellow a nice response even if it really is a really stupid idea. The correct response is:

"Good idea! We'll take it under advisement. Thanks! Now get back in your box"

Er, no.

There were no Sopwith Camels used in WWII.  Wherever did you get that frightful idea?

To get the 4,000lb bomb for the Mossie, lobby HTC for a Mosquito B.Mk XVI.  The Mosquito FB.Mk VI that we have certainly couldn't and didn't carry a 4,000lb bomb.  Complaining that we haven't got a loadout for a plane we haven't got is silly.

Be carefull when suggesting things, especially on general discussion boards.  You should see the flames I got when I just suggested adding World War II Biplanes :D

But I don't really like the Idea, I mean it was only used twice, in the MA however it would be used like 1-2 times a week, it'd turn into nuclear cold war and stuff, dont think it'd be a good idea.

Only thing it could be used for (Imo) is maybe a atomic bomb scenario but couldnt really build much of a scenario on that :)

Let's see.. how many times SHOULD we have used it?

Jeez, LW guys find a record of a single kill for some plane and use that as justification for inclusion.

I'd think using the bomb until the enemy surrendered unconditionally would qualify as well. Or should we have dropped another one after they surrendered? Maybe gone back and whacked the Germans with one just to make sure?

(Yeah, I know. We only had enough stuff for the two of them at the time. Save it.)

Gee, Beetle. If I get banned for a month from this
list for calling you a handsomehunk then it was well worth it.

For anyone to take an Aces High BB and turn it in his personal medium for gun control is the ultimate in arrogance and should be banned for interjecting pure BS into a game that was designed to be fun for everyone.

Leave your political BS at home when you come here.
Can we spell

Opps! Muted for this? OK!

And, no DA, it took me a whole minute to type this.

DamnedRen  :)

It's quite all right - just stepping in here so that skuz knows that I was not offended by what you said.

One of the MANY freedoms in America is that of free speech - am I right? All I'm doing in my sig is exercising that right. I do not believe there is any HTC rule governing the length of a sig. I have had that sig for weeks, and skuzzy has not written to me to tell me to remove it - though I must quickly point out that I accept fully that he may or may not agree with it.

Hmm, judging by the amount of post I get on that sig., I'm beginning to believe that the freedom is actually "Freedom of speech - as long as you agree with most Americans that post on this board."

I guess I need to apologize to you. Since I don't think you are American and happen to be jealous of what the old colonials have made of themselves, guns and all....I guess you're comments are acceptable. It must be difficult living under those taxes and laws which restrict human develpment.

BTW, there is immigration although you may need to hold you opinions until you've been here a while, takenthe oath and declared American.

LOL Poop!

DamnedRen - no apology needed. I have no plans to emigrate to the US, although I do have  British friend there - but he has a green card, not citizenship, as he doesn't want to give up UK citizenship.  You're right - the taxes here are getting ridiculous - implemented by a government for which I did not vote.
