Six Day War documentaries?
« on: November 27, 2002, 08:33:54 AM »
I am looking for objective, unbiased journalistic video documentaries of the Six Day War between Israel, Jordania, Egypt, Siria, and Iraq.

Something with era newsreels on the negotiations leading to the war, and good footage of the war itself, from the Israeli air attacks, to the ground war.

Could anyone point me out to a good video or DVD on this subject?

Thank you.

Is there really such a thing as objective and unbiased journalistic video documentaries?

If you find one let me know man.

I saw a book recently in the bargain section of Barnes and Noble about the Six Day War.  If there's a book, then there's probably a video out there somewhere.

Well, anything that closely resembles ;)

Nothing opinionated. More like "This leader said this, that leader said that, this country started blockade here and here, this other country attacks"

No rhetoric with a political agenda, wich is all I can find online. Most everything I find on the subject was written by the Israeli goverment or Israeli organisations.

A tip, when you find some titles look for reviews (google's a good start) that seem to piss off both Israeli and Arab sources :)

See what I mean?

My version:

The Arab nations involved attacked Israel without warning with the intention of killing all the Jews in Israel.

Now you don't need the videos or DVDs..you have the facts.;)
