Be advised the map has some issues with Rearm pads not functioning and not being able to accomplish successful landings on fields.  Nevertheless, this should be a very immersive setup.

overcast makes for lousy frame rates (+-15). I could grow to like the Yak-9T but 32 rounds with bad frame rate just dont cut it.

Gotta fly were the clouds aint!!!!!

Another thing which bothers me is the skins are kind of stagnant. Currently, there's a kind of an 'empty space' between custom skin makers and terrain builders so the two group rarely communicates on a keen level. For instance, If I would try hard and build something like winter camo for the planes used in this setup, I wouldn't know who to contact to see if the skin I built might get some use in this certain map... and a lot of opportunities to have some great eye candy gets lost in the process.

 ...

I'm currently thinking of making 1942~43 winter camo for the 109F-4 and the G-2, and if things permit, upto the G-6 - Eastern Front 109s with the typical "yellow nose" schemes.  (the La-5FN and the Yak-9T mostly uses almost single color schemes, so practically their winter camo skin can be done in about 30 minutes).

Kinda curious if it might be possible to contact the makers of CT maps and submit skins...

New skins for old maps might be a problem that presists for a while, I head that Sundog is redoing this map and I hope he includes skins for it, that is the only way a map can get skins tw for it to be resubmited to HTC with the skins, their are no short cuts for this.

The New maps closest to use for the CT are the Finland map which is compleat with new skins for all the planes in it.

ASW's new winter map for the western front in 44/45 has some new skins already, at least 3 or 4 planes are done for it, and more in the works.

10Bears may nead some help for his Hungery map, If you know of a skin and think either ASW or 10Bears could use it by all means ask them please!:)

Hmmm Kweassa those look sweet!

Would look nice over Hungary. Could I use some?.. doesn't have to be historical... just nice looking :).. I'd like some racing skins too.
Please send em' over.. zip em up and click on my sig.. email window pops up.

Hungary going to be very -GREEN- still in the editor so I can only give you screenie of that. (note: farmland heavy)

On the other issue I'm hopping Sundog has us do mantainance on older terrains.. I'd like to fix missing object bug in sgrad, remove large cloud layer, add roads and skins, same w/ Germany.

Oh.. wanted to tell ya, the despeckle funtion in paint shop pro
works great to get rid of some of that anoying pixelation-- doing that now w/ Hungary.

Also wanted to tell ya, Dux sent over raw DTED Level 1 DEM for me the use... They restricted... I could get a visit from HOMELAND Security!.  This is the most accurate elevation and scaled map I've worked on.
