Never did like bar sights, they block most of the target out.


The one good thing about an SA-80 was the red dot SuSat scope.

I always get pissed when this happens. That's the one good thing you never have to worry about with a wheel-gun.

Few Points:

As for carrying that thing, you'd better think twice.  Anti-Gun prosecutors froth at the mouth in shootings with SINGLE-ACTION guns, even, if you are in the right.  

Beretta, they stovepipe more than any pistol I have ever fired, I dislike them.   I don't understand why people will spend there outrageous prices for junk, IMO.  

I need to upgrade my H&K USP .45acp and add MMC Night-Sights.  This, is a weapon.

Oh yeah, GTO, watch that spring on that, seen many a guys go t clean it and spend 1/2 hour trying to find it.

Nice "Commander Style" Springfield.  Seriously though, read up on any "Carry Issues".  If you can carry in Cali, look at a Double action instead.

Thanks for the advice, I think if I ever do get a CCW, I will end up packing a Sig, my 220 has never failed me and I have had it for 10 years and fired more rounds through it then I can count!


This is mostly a fun gun, single action autos take allot of discipline to carry, and I am not all the comfortable with cocked and locked carry.

Funny story, so I am like 11, and my dad is going to let me clean his 1911. The gun was custom made by a local smith. I still have it.  SO I go to take out the spring plug, and BOING! it shoots across the room and I spent the next two hours searching. lol.
Never happened again.

The gun I really want is a H&K P7M8 but I just can not justify the 1200 to 1400 bucks on a gun. lol.

I use to own a Hi-po in 9 mm. That was a sweet shooting pistol. Never once did I have a jam and I fed it all manner of 9 mm ammo.

I've put a lot of rounds through the M92 (1000 rds just last wednsday), the problem with the M92 Berretta (other than the price) is that the locking block often cracks around 7500 - 10,000 rounds (less with hot loads). It's easy to replace though. As far as accuracy, it's an unmodified pistol - if you want accuracy get a rifle:) Really cracks me up when I see guys with a scope and even a buttstock sometimes on a pistol! - why not just get a rifle?

By the way GtoRA2, I like that pistol:)

Wow.. talk about a day late and a dollar short.  I have a friend that just sold his for $300 in excellent condition.  I fired it quite a bit, but didn't like it as much as my Berretta S&W40.

And nice pistol GTA.  I think a government model .45 will be my next addition.  Man.. I've fired a few thousand rounds through those.  That and the addition of an M1 would probably round out my collection.

BTW... I've never had a problem with stovepiping on my Berretta .40.  But I've only fired about 3000 rounds through it... mostly reloads.

The great irony... I've personally had more experience with stovepiping on .45s (colt match government model) than any other gun.  I've also had a problem with it on my 1935 FB Radom (hi-power knock off from ww2)... but that gun was made by people that weren't exactly thrilled at the notion of making weapons for the Germans.

Heh I have no intention of sniping with a handgun. To me the accuracy comes from being comfortable with the gun in my hand. For example I am terrible with Glocks because they are very uncomfortable and akward to hold for me, just basic stuff like that. :D

Do you have small hands Grunherz?  The Glock is one of the best "fitting" guns I've ever fired, but I have big hands.  I find the standard grip'd Colt .45's to be the worst because they are so narrow... and the hammer had a tendancy to pinch the flesh between the thumb and forefinger.

The only thing I don't like about the Glocks is the safety being built into the trigger.  That just seems fundamentally wrong for something with such a short trigger pull.  Its the absolute only reason I don't own one.

 When you say you want an M1, you talking a Garand?

 I bought one a few years back at a small local gun shop. it is a tad beat up but it shoots pretty good, under 4 inches at 100 yards.

Just for kicks I got a scope mount for it. LOL now that was an embarrassing day at the range lol.....  


All I am going to say is the damn scope instructions said NOTHING about removing the covers from the elevation and windage adjustment knobs!

Hi Powers are great guns.  Their only drawback is that the originals are single-action only.  

If I was going to drop some cash on a 9mm, I'd have to seriously think about buying anything other than a CZ-75.  I love shooting my dad's.

Wow Gman, isn't the SIG big $$$?  The way I hear some folks talk about it, it's like the Mercedes of assault rifles (in more ways than one actually).
