Pretty trivial.  Just press the H2H button from the clipboard and select "Create Host".

Then name the game, select the terrain and go.

Once in the game, as the server, you have control over all the setup parameters, byt going to the "Setup" button and then "Arena Settings".

Quite complex after that, as there are many variables you can adjust.

If you have a firewall, you have to open the ports 2000-5000 for UDP and TCP in the firewall.

If you have a DSL/Cable router, then the firewall in it needs to be opened up.

Basically, if people cannot connect to your server, then it is due to something blocking them from getting to the server.

That hapened to me Shark, have you had yer cable modem pluged in during a lightning storm? that can slow it down... just to let you know.. :)

My ADSL incresed pretty well after we got it replaced from a lightning storm..

Also if its yer 2ndry internet computer where its going thrugh a router, it may not work..

No, it is best if you do not have a firewall up.  Firewalls are what block ports.  Without a firewall, all the ports become available.

Your router could be the problem.  And everyone of those blasted personal routers configure differently, so I cannot tell you how to do it.
Personally, I would rather have a 16 penney nail driven through my big toe as use one of those things.

I would go to the manufacturs web site & search there help section on how to open up ports.
