Yeah Apar, well I saw some guys who didn't say it sucked in that thread... so I guess that they still thought it sucked despite saying something else, huh? That's some wierd conclusions you came to.

SAW, why do I have to do anything? The only meaningful poll is one done in the MA, and only HTC can run one of those.

FYI Kappa, your thread only shows roughly 20odd people think the map sucks... prolly about 35 now... which in turn means you have just as much information to say that the majority of people think the map sucks as I do for people that like it.

Of course I expect more personal insults and flames coming.

Because this is a map created by players we're not allowed to comment, criticise it?? If we do so we have to make a map of our own first?? I don't think so, I pay for this game, and I criticise game features if I want to.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the effort the AK's have put into the big map, and I'm sure the effort is not a waist, it will contribute allot to future big maps. Hell, I'm even happy with HT paying or compensating the AK's involved.

At the moment though, the map is simply too big, with too many fronts making it hard to get a good idea about the strat situation let be defendable. The overal alt of the fields is too high and in favour of planes that perform well on high alts (which makes it a CT map for me). The map favours milk running and large No countries (more than usual) because if it's fronts. Last I have problems with the contrast between planes and ground, making it hard to spot planes against the ground.

Do what you want with it, if not improved, I'm in favour of taking it out of roulation.

Apar, I never said you had no right to criticize. Constructive criticism is one thing, pissin' and moanin' using inflammatory jargon is another. There will always be some that would complain rather than do something about their situation.

Kappa, you're improving.  However, I was busy and certainly not muted. I didn't do anything to get muted(that time) but I'm not sure a mute nazi would have bothered muting me for responding to your relentless albeit unimaginative insults.  I have forgotten what is was you sent to me on private chat...
