I can't find the quote at the moment, but I read somwhere that the point of gv spawn points was to save the player hours of time by allowing them to spawn within a reasonable drive to the target rather than having to drive the entire 25 miles between bases at 25 miles an hour.
Well then doesn't it defeat the purpose when spawning from an AKDESERT gv base in the canyons (about 3.0k) to attack an airbase located on a canyon island at 6-11k? When in WWII was a base located on a canyon island assaulted by heavy armour? And how exactly did they lift that heavy armour (or even light armour) up the 1km high cliff?
How about some historical terrain to go with our historical aircraft?
I really like the ratio of gv bases, and I like the desert textures since some desert fighting took place in North Africa, but fighting over the grand canyon doesn't seem to fit with WWII.
