Balance mechanisms are coming in v1.11.

Let's wait and see what effect they have before stomping out of the playground in a huff.

This thread is CLEARLY a case of not enough knight pancakes to cover a doghouse. If you would only realise that the bish canoe is broken it might become clear to you why the rook sasquatch painted his toenails, thus creating the problem in the first place.

PS...Confuscious, shut up.

Seems some folks only see what they want to see, and deny clear evidence and continue making assinine statements.

Or they just like the way things are right now and fear change, and the balance it might bring, since the Rooks probably have the best pilots right now (who needs to hide behind fodder? :D )

cowardice is just a convienient word for what is going on... lately..  I guess 'timid', 'fragile ego'  and 'greedy' would describe it better... but it's the the way the game is now...

I don't know if it's all the the new guys who still aren't bored with swarming a bunch of buildings and maybe seeing one con to fight over or....

It is the vets joining in because of fragile egos or...

It is the new emphasis on gameplay... the "missun" and the "competition" that plays to the guys who allways new they were the best and that people were beating em because their real talents weren't showcased..

In any case... it's not as fun... can't find a decent furball much anymore... No one seems to one to fight for the sake of fighting... no one wants to participate in a large fight with fairly even numbers...

I'm guessing it's cyclical and that the new guys will get a little more confidence and the building battling and 'strat" will get old pretty soon now... the crabby old vets with the more anal objectives will drift on into the new "missun" arena where they will argue about strat and how their rank or score or something isn't appreciated.  And yes, if you are in doubt about who I am refering to.... I just called yu a wussy little strat weinie.

The only Rook horde I've seen was Woody, MAC, and a couple/three other guys doing repeated runs in P-38s and Corsairs over my city before sending in the goon.  Woody got 6 kills off of my FM2, MAC picked up a couple, too.  I got each of them at least once, plus one of the other guys.  That ain't a horde, that's determination!:p

If this game had no score the problem would be solved.Unfortunatly there are those that equate score with whatever they are lacking in.Maby there a die hard nobody in real life and this game makes them feel superior in the only way possable in there miserable little lives.I used to keep a high score and got nothing done but kills. That bored me so I started pounding mud in attack aircraft anf the ammount of munitions dropped led to a drop in score. It never bothered me cause it was still fun.You anal magnets and napolianic wannabees allways cry when the score goes to shat.I remember when I first started this game in Jan 2000 the Knits were the numbers.Yet there was never a winefest like this from the Bish.We were to busy flying to cry.Forget about the score for a campaign and see how fun it is.The only place you will find me now is H2H cause I dropped the account. The thrill is gone.

Now I have the floor again, Thank You Chairman Rude...

I will state the successful attack vs Rookland at 12:00 am eastern....  was unjustified score jackaling at its best...

The whole eastern side of the map was littered like a plague of locust some 80-100 vs 20....  There was no strategy, maybe cold war soviet strategy of mass over quality... but then again if you want to call that tactics with no attrition, I pity the fool...

Just like the good ole days about a month ago... when the save rookland was just getting popular....  yes we had the combined arms of Knits and Bishkits bashing the crap out of us yet once again....

See the reason i even started this thread was simple, a little bait but alot of relavance....  Note the only complainers were indeed bish mostly of leet type... as stated in the initial post...

I really would love to fly inferior aircraft in the main arena again, my 10-15 days last month was fun....  But now with the contest that is impossible....   You saps are going to force me to bring the smack down on you late war monster style and you will see that is not a good thing.

Its not so much a score thing for me.. while I try to survive every mission (not this tour feeling the new arena's waters, building perks) I look at this way; a plane in the air is able defender, you do your team no good if you are dead taking 5-10 minutes to get back to the combat area.

I remember the good ole days when I was Knit and there was good combat on that Ogre map with the high Mt. between countries... (need to bring that beta map back..)  There was no running away..  you fight your way over the mt back to your base.  Remember yeager Moss, Torque Rude's etc.....  Was that such a bad era...    When the mustang was unpopular And the UFO Nik was King.

Ah The good ole days....

See with the current unbalancing we lost our ability to choose.   We must fight on the defensive with exeption of 1-2 days a month while the other countries remain with dominate #'s the remainder.

The only people who are blind to this are those who dont want the sweetheart deal fodder mongrel army to be vanquished.  It human nature to be greedy bastages; what im saying is evolve....

"I nominate this post for the whine of the month..."

Chairman Rude I relenquish the remainder of my time to the representitive of Knitland...

I'm a Knight.  We lost our HQ to the Rookes last night.  Didn't see a Rooke horde.  No Borgian clouds moving through the skies.  The Rookes got our bases with less than 12 pilots per attack while most of the Knight forces were trying a break-out against the Bish.  If there was a Rooke horde, they must've been on the other front trying to equal out the numbers against the Bishops, too.  I ain't gonna cry about losing to them - they won it fair and square.

In fact, at one point the Bish had captured a Knight base in the Knight motherland and found themselves trying to fight off both the Rooke march and the Knight counter-attack - and the Bish numbers equalled the Rooke and Knight pilot numbers combined!

On the upside, last night was probably one of the few times I've felt justified in flying the Spitfire IX and P-51D instead of one of the disadvantaged planes like the FM2 and 190a8.

in my 7 month experience in AH i noticed that both rooks and knights get their fair share of lemmings as well. Flying for bish mostly, all the time i see ponys, p38s, tyffies climbing to 15k just point their nose down to the nmy field and crash while trying to deliver their load. I see La7s climbing to absurd alts just to go head-on with the first red icon they see. The only difference is numbers... but that has got nothing to do with pilot skills, imo. And with all the respect, bish launch lemming attacks with large numbers, while rooks and knights do just the same, only in a little wider time period. I love to get on a lemming path and pick JaBos to busy thinking bout the vulch thats 5 mins away, to even try to check 6 or evade. U get this kind of guys on all 3 sides.
