Krusher hosted the weekly Furball Fever.

When I logged, there were 40 in Furball Fever and 138 in the Main.

Excellent turnout and I thank you all for shooting me down so many time!

Furball is really a great time! Some of the better sticks show up (to include myself and my oshitman manuever, hehehe).

I apologize to all the P38 and P47's I shot down. I was trying to end Drex's streak ( yeah, right) but couldn't find him.

One thing we did was tune Roger Wilco to an open channel so one could haze his opponent live

Worked out well, since AH1G wasn't there to share his virtual beer with us!

We had a major blast.. !!

I started the night in a 202 and got a pair of quick kills. Then I switched to the Dhog and added one more. But for the most part, I sucked wind and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. I did bag 3 auger kills in my first flight of a jet bomber hehe.

The crowd was awesome with over 30 pilots most of the night and over 40 at its peak

I am looking forward to next week.

Krusher, we had quite a few calls for planesets, and working thru them...we might give it a try, it can go rather quickly if we set max alt to 20k, start everyone in one plane type (say, Spit9 vs 109G2,G6,G10) then, after last man is down, go to the next plane set, on and on...food for thought.
Otherwise, it ends up being 'a low-pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey' conga line! which isn't a bad thing, its just better if we engage simotaneously

I had fun despite my toejamty performance. Augered 3 times in a row. Managed to get away with 2 kills only to fly into the ground while typing a woo hoo on open chnl and crashed on landing next sortie.

Hope this is a weekly event, maby even twice weekly?

Had fun till conx got bad.

Was fun trying all the different AC without losing perkies.

Apache could I help it if every time I turned around you were crossing in front of me?

Yeah Drex was on a roll last night. At one point I saw him fighting with no less than 5 Yaks and still come out alive.

Was great fun fellas.

However, I propose we move it to a more interesting part of the dueling arena next week. One of the canyons down south would be cool, or maybe a three sided mellee at the "crater lake".

Don't know about you guys I had a blast, had no problem finding a target, I just had to look on my 6. Seems when you fly a 152/Tempest and dive into a crowd they just want to chase you

At any rate looking forward to next week, and flying a 234 in there to their base and back and not getting shot down was a thrill as well "never got higher then 5k!"

Had a blast, got killed by some good shots, that I normally survive in the main.Had fun in my spit trying get angles on ammo and got the whole thing turned around on me in a stall. hehehe, But the best enjoyment I got was when I B/Z a 51 and it came up " you shot down Regurge " Ussually he gets me all the time with the B/Z..I think I got lucky, he probably didn't see comming.hehehehe

Yea Laz, it was the same size as Main arena (back in beta days!)
