It will be interesting to see this bird in AH  

But as several have said it isn't a world beater by far, hell... I wouldn't even perk the thing. The only planes that need to fear the Ta152 are the strato buff dweebs.

Who wrote the SimHQ article btw?

Its full of factual errors and falacies. Hundreds of Ta512's built? Only if you count pieces of fueselage and wings in seperate factories that never were assembled. There were about 45-50 Ta152's build in total, only the last 3 or 4 were Ta152H1's like we are getting. And only used to defend 262 bases? Thats the biggest urban legend associated with this plane ever. And I won't even go into the Yak portion of the article.

That said, congrats Luftwobbles !! You finally got your dream ride

8,95 aspect ratio - even higher than the AR of the P38
airfoil with higher CLmax compared to the 190 series

Not a 190 anymore, but it will be an interesting ride

hmm...nice to have, but why not the Dora? The 152 will be next to useless at the altitudes fights occur in AH. I can't even remember the last time I engaged above 20k.


btw, WTG for using Willi Reschke's markings. Whoever said it was the Tempests main diet should read a bit of Reschke's memoirs

this is an awesome airplane! why do you WANT the dora? a 109 g10 is almost just like it excepting roll rate. Ta-152 is a cooler plane IMO, the dora is just the luftwaffe runstang.
