Well with the news that iEN's stock is being pulled by NASDAQ, and from what I gather that means the Stock will be pratically impossible to trade unless you are already personally aware of the company, is WB dying?

I understand also that iEN held a Stock Holders meeting and failed to tell them that they were being considered by NASDAQ as being pulled from the List of companys becasue of a failure to meet certain minimum requirements (Earnings profits etc..etc..).  Because they failed to tell the stock holders this..they are now being sued by the stockholders for this action in a civil suit (which will inevetibly eat up alot of capital).

So, they are going to get sued....NASDAQ has pulled them from the exchange so no new income (or very little at all) will come from Stock purchases or values.  Player dissatisfaction has (IMHO) grown to an all time low, there was a mass exodus of most of the knowledge of the Programming about a year ago, the New CEO is talking more marketing hype that its kinda sounding "last ditch effort to sell the lemon" .  Multiple bug ridden rleases in last 6 months ( I know..alot of releases have bugs). and becasue of restructuring, New Employees, understaffed Customer Service Dept, New Server with less connection routes (isolating a large group of avid players) and several existing "Free Servers" and more OTW from what I understand....Plus a rescent break in ther CODE which in turn has most of their resources re-coding the game verses fixing the games problems.....IS THIS COMPANY GOING DOWN... Or Am I reading to much into this...does this sort of thing happen all the time with "Online Game Companies"?

Shame to watch it die...if that is what its doing.

Boy o Boy.....

Hey HT,

Unfortunatly, I think that by the New Year, Warbirds will be only a fond memory.  I don't have any inside dope or anything other than the things you mentioned, but I think IMOL or whoever they are now has just missed the boat and I think their new "slick willey" CEO has bit off more than he can chew.  It's really sad too, although I think that HT and Pyro's new sim is going to be everything that Warbirds isn't, for those of us that have been around for the last 3-4 years it'll be like seeing a good friend go down.  And wouldn't ya know it I just got my first 10 kill sortie ever today   (in a P-47)

I few months back i said that WB was dead. Now it looks like iMOL is dead almost for sure. But somehow i believe that WB is going to live on, either by someone bying the code, or someone just taking over the whole company (whats left of it). Either way, AH better be damned good if it is going to compete with much lesser plane, and with almost identical "game philosophy" and gameplay othervise.

But then, there may be room for many more online sims ones people start to "discover" them.

Just my humble opinion.
