All this moaning is to be expected.The decision to perk the F4Uc was a brave move by HTC and i applaud them.
I flew a sortie in a 190a8 yesterday and scored 10.25 perks which i think is probably amongst the highest ive scored in a 190a8 in a single sortie.I took off with 500kg 100% and as i took off a lovely FP appeared
killed it with the egg rearmed/refueled and went on a jabo.killed a few planes(3?) straffed a couple of ammo bunkers and flew back.
This may not be what i get every sortie but 1-3 perks is about normal.so 2 sorties will get me an f4uc if i desired to fly it
.I think in order to avoid more bad feeling about what planes are perked HTC should make it very clear why a plane is perked,why they feel this will help and maybe what made them decide 7 perks was about right.
I think the F4c will come DOWN is perk price myself.Those that love it will fly it but many newbies will try other planes now.The usage will drop dramatically.The price will drop i hope until HTC will see numbers more closely related with the other aircraft.
I'd bet it will end up costing 4-5 perks and as numbers increase on other aircraft they will also be considered for perking but i bet it will be quite a slow process.
If everyone continuously complains we all become miserable.
Id say it may well be a tactfull move to perk the dora for a tour HTC.Most of the LW flyers have 2 or 3 favourites in your list and we have flown 14 tours without the dora, im sure 1 more wont hurt.I dont feel the dora deserves to be perked but it would sure quiet down the endless 'this is a personal attack on me and my favourite ride' brigade!
LW squads and pilots.Perk the dora to keep them quiet? I say do it.Im fed up with listening to all this crap about offending 'those that flew her' and 'whiners get their way' etc.
