Simple Solution for CV hiding
If a country take over the Port the CV automatically goes to that country, in the location it is in.

Whels, I hope fellow rooks dont lose respect for you like the few on this discussion are.

The sad thing is the whole thing started with the Most Wanted getting pissed that their cv of choice was getting pulled out of the action, while there was anothere cv about 10 miles away. It happened on the ndisles map, just north of p14. The enemy cv (c13) had been captured, and they made this the base for their squad night. The Rook cv (c61???) was right next to it. Someone on the Rook country decided to take c13 away from the action, with c61 being right there. Some people had an isssue with it and the most wanted(????) left the rooks because of it.

All I can say is that if the MW left Rookland because the cv they wanted was taken away from them, while another was 10 miles away, then Rookland suffered no great loss.

As far as the cv being hidden thats referred to in this thread, I could care less who sent it there, the hypocrits that left a country because of the same thing had controll of it, they should have all been bish by then.

Whels the fact that you have that screen shot to show off speaks volumes about your integerity, add that to the fact that you also were able to report the position of the bish cv equals that your complaint holds no water with me.

I have flown both with and against the Most Wanted for a long time, both here in Aces High and in Air Warrior. I have known both Doody, JayD, Cat and a few others for years now, the rest I have flown quite a bit with here, Kazz, Rev, 007 to name a few. As I understand it, the MW went to rookland to try and balance the numbers in the MA, things did not work out so they came back to the Knights, your post to me is nothing more than sour grapes.

In the future if you are going to post about the possible shady dealings of a squadron, you might not want to use a screenshot taken from your rival country and claim it as you own, or brag about knowing the whereabouts of the other countries CV as well. Kinda looks bad from far away........but that's just me?

All I know is if there is a scrap some where late of a night, there is usually elements of the MW and the El Cartel (my squadron) right in the middle of it. Like I said before I (and my squadron) have flown both against them and with them, and it sure is a hell of a lot eaiser when they are flying with us than against us.

I was also there and agree that CV61 was close by and could have been used.

However, at that point in the game, there was no compelling reason to hide CV13. We had the port, we had the numbers and were on the offensive. Holding P-14 isn't especially difficult as the nearest enemy base is 1.5 sectors distant. Yet, we had two carriers there and A10 is just 15 miles north. Indeed, the biggest threat was from GVs, and they can be handled with just a few defenders.

I have frequently disagreed with the MWs on use of a captured CV where the port is already lost, or we are being pushed back. However, in this instance, there was no harm in using it. Even if the port had been lost right away, there's little threat to the captured CV simply because there are no fields nearby. This means that the enemy must launch a large, long-range mission to sink it. Exactly what they would have do if the CV had run north a sector. Believe me, someone will tell them where it is anyway.

In this case, there was just too much acrimony on both sides of the debate.

I think we need more CVs.  Maybe 2 per group.  And more ports.

And more vehicle hangars. 1 for small airfields, 2 for medium, 3 for large airfields.  And stand-alone vehicle bases should have 3 or 4 vehicle hangars each.

What the picture proves is:

Knights own C41 which spawns from P14, and the CV Group that spawns from P21. Can't see the number of that CV Group but it is positioned just north of P21.

Knights own BOTH P14 and P21

C41 has sailed north (1 1/2 sectors) half-way thru its first waypoint starting in 14.6.9 (which probably WAS its hiding spot UNTIL MwHUN got ahold of it)

So ..

If Knights own both ports and CV Groups, then there really is no HIDING involved, just stupidity ... taking a CV out of action when there is no threat to its spawing port.

Even if P14 were to be taken, it would be a matter of minutes before it was re-captured. Knights own A10 and A11, and spawing GVs from A15 to P14 is a snap !!! so there would be no cause to HIDE IT at this stage of the game.

What this picture does prove is :

Whels has a Knight Spy ...

or

Whels has a second account ...

or

Whels has a hair across his bellybutton for the Most Wanted ...

BUT is by no means proves that the Most Wanted were hiding a CV ... nice try
