Rip - I'm interested in joining a squadron...

...which is the best?

What do I gotta do to join?  I'll be flying on-line in January and I'm tired of H2H.  Do you want a talented newcomer...or would you settle for me?

Regards, Shuckins

I would suggest checking out Sandmans "Spotlight" which highlites squadron information about those who submit it.

Email me regarding our squadron, my email is valid in the profile.

If you happen to come to Rookland, ask for BFD. He can point you in the right direction too. Tell him Tahgut sent ya.

Rip's squad is top notch too, as are many others. Try to find the one that matches your personality and level of immersion.

GL.

Thanks Rip and MT.

I prefer to fly the FM-2, F6F, and F4U-4.  In that order.  Sometimes fly the Spit.  I would prefer to fly in a squadron devoted to naval aircraft and which uses historically accurate tactics, in the tradition of Eugene Valencia's "Mowing Machine."  Which squadrons best fit the bill in that regard?

Oh, I forgot to add in the email, we fly all aircraft available in AH. We've not shoe-boxed ourselves into one particular plane type except in the case of historical Tours of Duty, then we usually request Allied in the Pacific scenarios.  In the MA, we fly all aircraft.

I actually flew the N1K recently!  And the LA7 is always good for those low-level incursions where you like to catch folks lifting off the runway...from beneath them. ;)
