go ahead and heap on the abuse... I might not even fight back..

Just got the clutch in my elky and everything is great.. 3200 lb 11.2 clutch is a tad stiff but I ain't too old and feeble just yet... New AC/heat/defrost unit that hasnm't even been tested yet and... the new 468 motor runs great!  I even got an electric choke on the 850 so the thing is sorta docile on startup... You can actually drive it cold...Gonna head out and put a couple hundred miles on the whole mess and break it all in within the hour.  Cam is a little 280 with 530 lift... lopes a little at idle but lots of torque down low still.   Anyone wanna race uphill?

Come on down to Pleasanton and we'll drag.  It's raining so I might be able to stay close enough to smell your exhaust.

LOL Lazs!  OK, at least let met have a go at pushing the clutch down. :D

Quick!  Get to your car in the driveway - there are $1 bills dripping out of the exhaust.

Yep... not a car and not a pickup... not good at either one.   station wagon wheelbase and more weight bias to the rear than a sedan.  I even have a magnetic "Our lady of Guadalupe"  statuette.

funked... you were right it was WET!  Kinda took the fun out of it but I needed to break in the engine anyhow so it was ok.   With the 6 speed 2400 rpm is 75mph.   fun trip but the monsoon was kinda scary.

Beetle... the old 408 motor would get up to 15 mpg  I think I can get 13-14 easy out of the 468.  The cam is mild enough to just have a nice lope not drip out the tailpipes...

Laz is going to have to get custom pants made...

One side normal, the other for his giant ARNY like leg, from the clutch!
