Does anyone know where a decent tech support guy can find a job?

The rest of the Assassin's might be able to back me up on this - my ex-current position had me working upwards of 50 hours a week without compensation. (crud salary pay) Decided today to kiss the place goodbye, so I'm currently looking for advice on where to look.

South Shore, Boston, Cape Cod... anyone in MA have any contacts?

If you have a technical degree to go with that experience, send me an e-mail : david.staines@intel.com

My biggest qualm -

I have been studying to take the MSCEs for a while, but said boss will not pay for the training or for the test as promised!

Same goes for A+ - both were promised as perks, in my contract, and nothing has came of them.

Going to go for my A+ anyway with my own funds.

Other than with Verizon I'm not sure. My company has a hiring freeze. Also,  I'm in the same state but a good 120 miles from where you're at and not to much in tune with whats in your area.

Check the Patriot Ledger and Globe help wanted. They are your best bet at the moment.

But if I see or hear of anything anywhere I'll give you a heads up!

You may also want to try www.computerjobs.com.  They have a decent selection for the Boston area.

Moose, a good friend of mine is a techie at Communica, which I belive is in Bourne. I'll ask him if he knows of anything. He's in a similar sit where he's going to be "stuck" at his company for a while after they put him through the MSCE course.

I'll get back to you.

We all have a blind date with Destiny... and it looks like she's ordered the lobster.

Communica is going to be my first stop tomorrow morning. An excellent Cape-based company.

The CEO once met me and we exchanged numbers. I applied, but never got a call back.

Thanks to all that are so gracious!
