My question, "Are You High???" was in fact asking if you had your seat position high in the cockpit, which is what many P-51D dirvers have. Therefore, the new upper cockpit rail and armor glass frame would indeed impare your forward view much more than it had in the past.

Unfortunately, you took my response as offensive, when in fact your aggressive attitude promoted the feelings of animosity now festering between us. Hopefully, we can resolve this issue without a lengthy and ungainful squable that could quickly turn into a mud-slinging contest of epic proportions.

IMO the new P-51 has a better 12 view then the original P51. Ive been able to shoot lead shots alot better now, without having my seat position above the nose.

yeah, more 12oc angle visible under the nose at the cost of just a bit at high 12; that's ignorable with the extra fwd head position, so what's the big deal? Too lazy to move head around during flight? You should already be doing it for pre-snapshot nose positioning estimations...

I mean angle, with the same fish eye openings where the canopy sides meet the cowl, like the 109E remodel got.
There's more oval shape in the cowl from pilot's head but that's not what i meant.
