So... we have the 50 point perk vehicle, Tiger... whoopee... half the time I've used it, I get killed by terrain bugs.

Tonight... great example... first gear... in the city, next to the church even and I'm turning around to get in position... BOOM.

I was careful... looked around... no debris on the ground... well away from the buildings so I don't want to suffer one of the tree, rock, building doinks that seem to destroy the GV at the slightest touch while a P51 can rain impotent 50 cal. and the tiger just shrugs it off.

GV's have made a great leap forward. The HE really do some damage to the structures. Thanks HTC...

Now... could you fix the land mines cleverly disquised as scenery or just turn 'em off?

yep had same thing happen to me, I drove onto the grey road at the edge of the town to land, being very, very careful to not touch any debris, then its as if my tank suddenly spun around bounced upside down and then blew up, ? weird

quite funny but a pain.

worse was last night, I had defended a base on edge of pizza map, in a tiger and had 7 kills (outshooting guys in tigers at 4K), got back to hanger, opened clipboard, opened text and typed .ef, my hand went to hit enter to land and.... ..  .  .

HT reset arena ,  'host connection lost' :(

thump <--- head hits desk as I slump forward in disbelief,  what timing :D

Whiners!   This is fanboy special feature and not a bug, at least nut until HTC admits it's wrong and fixes it! :D

It's all part of a master plan.  HT will let us use up all the billions of GV perks we havn't spent while waiting for a Tiger on trees, buildings, tiny little white rocks, big huge rocks that jump out on you from nowhere and 1 degree slope changes that came from the twylight zone, then when no-one has any left they'll be a patch that fixes all of this and we'll all hail HT as a Cod like the blindly worshiping numbnuts we are.

Sandman:

The same thing happened to my Tiger on my first mission with one.  Was at town we had just captured and, although being very careful, suddenly the tank rolled over violently and I was dead.  Five kill mission, too, darn it.

Was in a Tiger last night defending the port and shot another Tiger at least 20 times from 2.8 out. Most were direct hits (big flash), but this is something that I can deal with.

BUT ...

Rolled a Tiger from the hanger last night to defend an airfield. Rolling across the field in MG postion, steering with pedals, I drove by the field radar. My tracks must have touched the colored tile that the radar sits on and boom .. I am back in the tower. I know for sure that I DID NOT roll over the radar itself. This is what I find hard to deal with.

I sure that HiTech can fix this, and I only hope that the fix comes sooner, rather than later.

funny thing... interesting really...

in the FINRUS terrain map designed by kanttori that was in the Combat Theatre last week, i was in an osti in a town... i slowly and inadvertently bumped into a bldg and simply... stopped...

i was very slow, tho, but at least i didn't blow up...

things that make you go, hmmmmmmmm.

wonder why that was or what setting it might have been under...
