...as a mirror and you'll save yourselves alot of question answering - it's maybe the best overall WW2 gun/armor site ever on the internet and now it's mirrored on a less than perfect network):

Read this website in it's entirety.

It's the accumulation of 50+ great reference books on WW2 guns, armor, and most importantly how armor penetration (in all its varied forms) 'works'.

If you have a question about guns/armor/penetration during WW2 - any applicable Nationality - the answer is here.

Punt the heck out of this thread please from time to time.

One thing you must keep in mind about any data you may come apon..its only as good as those who produced it.. while reserching the 1944 production of Russian 85mm main armed tanks I had been sent WW II factory records copys, there were very impressive production out put of T-34/85 and KV-2 completed vehicles, then right out of right field came a doc for the production of 85mm tank main guns, if these records are correct some how during the later part of 1944 the Russians produced almost twice as many 85mm armed tank as the number of 85mm tank gun they manufactered...From a friend (who was permoted to MSgt in Red Square) who had spent a lot of time in Russia told me the answer was "you'll do just about anything to stay alive when you have Stalin breathing down your neck, including fuge the production records of your tank factory".Then again out of no-were came some data on production of the TT M1933 Pistol, it states don't trust the seial numbers, some are add on numbers from a 2nd factory to boost production records (Stalin again) and know one will ever  know how many of these pistols were produced.

True. However, have you read the sight? It contains far more than just gun performance data.

Also, all performance data has listed source(s) for it.

A very good site, in my opinion.
