Grun,

A. You have no idea what HiTech's decision was based on, nor do you know anything about his business relationship with NUTTZ, beyond the fact that NUTTZ supplied stuff to the cons.

B. It's none of your business.

Don't mean to be too blunt, but that's about it, and that's why I found your post humorous.

HiTech doesn't have to explain anything to us.  We're not shareholders in HiTech Creations and therefore aren't owed an explaination on this matter by HiTech.  This is a private matter between NUTTZ and HiTech and it should remain that way.  NUTTZ showed very poor form in posting his rant and should have taken care of it in private between himself and HiTech.  Those are the only two people this matter involves and it should stay that way.

Shutup Aub.
Nuttz should have had the contract IMO. You should
always keep it in the family or community. I dont blame him for being a little upset.
I personaly will buy my shirts and mugs from Nuttz, not HTC
Its a free country and all.

Even when it seems like EA it could still be a mistake.
So I wont equate HTC management with EA at the moment.
I will however place a Tshirt order with Nuttz.

So we know that NUTTZ did some great work for the Aces High Community through some great maps.  He has been a good promoter of the HTC product.  NUTTZ and HTC had some kind of deal going with Aces High merchandice.  HTC sourced it with a different vendor with no call to NUTTZ explaining why.  Dumped him like a sack of rotten potatoes.

If this is true, sounds like HT and Pyro could easily qualify for management jobs where I work.

Where I work, I get a weekly screwing whether I need it or not.  Hell, they even stopped using lube due to they wanted to cut cost!  :)

Sounds like this little disagreement is between HTC and NUTTZ and it should of stayed between them.  Bad form posting it on the BBS.  This is HTC's house.

NUTTZ if this did happen it really stinks for you always supported Aces High.  Hope to still see you in the virtual skies!

Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

No toejam. NUTTZ already stood up and said he shouldn't have posted it. We all have every reason to respect both him and HT, thus we should all trust they will now work whatever out between themselves in proper fashion.

Ahoi:)

That is definately wrong. As we all do or say wrong things from time to time an honest apolpgy is a nice thing to make things better.
Some folks think apologies are only for women  but i have  great respect for gents who can jump over their shadow even more.

Big for ya Nuttz

I'm just going to add that the hats and t-shirts given out at the AH con were of the best quality I have ever seen...And I have a closet full of em from running 10k's and marathons.Didn't know it was your doing, very nice touch it was.

I can second that.  The 3 con hats I've collected are my favorite hats.  And I'm quite a connoisseur of hats needing to cover my bald head.

They were much better than the crappy kind of decal ironed on foam (which starts flaking off within a week) hat I was expecting.  Any squads thinking of doing shirts or hats or mouse pads with their squad logos could certainly do worse than going with Nuttz.

Theres no doubting his craftsmanship.

I agree that HT does not owe anyone (but NUTTZ)  any explainations or answers for exactly the reasons outlined.

That said, though NUTTZ should not have posted the rant here - he did. Which brings us to the old saying that you can't unring a bell.

I kina hope that the whole story comes (leaks) out now that the bell has been rung - only because it leaves a lot of questions up in the air.

I'm sorry, but I've said this before (actually.. I said it the last time Nuttz went on a tirade)..

Contributions to this community are given, not sold.  Nobody owes you anything for them, you can only hope that they are apreciated.

Nuttz's map making and con sponsorship do not in any way oblidge HTC to either use his buisness or notify them when they chose not to use his buisness.  That is what makes this post uncalled for.

Damn... if HTC "owed" everyone that contributed something to this game or this community...  The list would be too long to track.

Do it for the love of the game, for the love of the community.  Expect nothing in return.

Your correct AKDeja, In all Reality HiTech doesn't owe me anything, Not even an explaination. I posted this while I was really mad, I posted an oppology that My personal diagreement was out of line on the BBS. I also don't believe in retracting what I said, either in anger or Not, I said it and will take the punishment. I said It and cannot take the words back. I STILL do feel slighted. I made the maps and asked nothing in return, I did it for the love of the game, I helped sponsor the Con for the love of the game and community, and your right I shouldn't expect anything in return, Not even an explaination.

Let this post drop, I was so out of line with this post. I'm sure once HiTech reads this, It won't matter who post what and why, It is between HiTech and myself. Once again I'm sorry for airing my dirty laundry out in public.
