All the best HiTech and AH crew in 2003
« on: December 26, 2002, 05:02:26 PM »
I wanted to take a moment out of my busy holiday season to thank HiTech Creations for the awesome product they make available. I started back in the days of Datapac ($6.00/hour) and $4.00/hour fees to Air Warrior. I recall monthly bills 8++ years ago of $600.00, yep, matched my mortagage payment. And when I hear whines about lack of eye candy I snicker thinking back to "hit Bubbles" and the dream of being able to actually aim for, and take off a wing. I graduated to War Birds and spent many hours developing and maintaining a website for the squad I was XO of, JG51 Moelders. I flew wing for one of the finest 109 jockeys and comanders in the virtual skies "DRUM" who I have lost touch with since taking a 3 year break. I've been fortunate enough to attend a CON (1998 Dallas) as well as get my father involved "SE" who spent 6,000 hours flying everthing from gliders to DC7's. Dad retired from flying (always as a hobby) after achieving a 6th in the World for Sportsman Aerobatics in I believe the early 1980's as well as being Canadian National Aerobatic Champion (as a visiting American with dual citizenship (sneaky eh!). I couldn't imagine giving that all up due to the curse (age) but the virtual world has given that back to a certain degree.

All the best to you HiTech, and staff in 2003, and thank-you for your devotion to the continued developement and refinement of your outstanding product, and brain-child.... Aces High.

Ditto those feelings Psyco. I started in Air Warrior for Windows on AOL 1996. To watch the WWII flight sim grow from 2D, to 3D, to todays Aces High has been wonderful ( and aggravating, frustrating...).

Kudos to the whole Aces High Team. I'm sure by this time next year we will have moved forward again to an even more enjoyable game.

Happy New Year Aces High!
