combatstick and pro throttle-analog
« on: December 26, 2002, 03:23:19 AM »
I still have the old combatsick and prothrottle, non-usb, the gameport version.

Question is:

I use windows XP and of course can't program anything on the prothrottle, has this been fixed or is there a work around?

I have a saitek 45 that i use but i really miss the combatstick.  No use have that throttle if ya cant program it.

I just got a Pro Throttle from eBay... I looked around on the CH tech faqs, there is some "security" setting in the winxp kernal that won't allow you to program the Pro Throttle in windows XP... which is a lot of fun... Luckily I have an old eMachines with windows ME and I program and download the buttons I need for AH on it, then move it back to my XP machine...

Sucks, but it's the only way to do it.
