Map in AH

Hi,
I've tryed to make a simple terrian,
I've got file new.res and map.bmp
they looks good (map.bmp)
I've put new.res to terrians folder in AH
and loaded the terrian
I can fly at my terrain but I can not see THE MAP on my clipboard
it gives me something strang
How can I merge this map.bmp (that is absolutly looks good)
to the game to be able to fly with map

You need to rename the Map.bmp to the name of the map. In this case rename it to New.bmp.

But where do I have to put this "new.bmp"
I've tryed in HTC\AcesHigh\terrians\ folder but
it does not work!

This question seems to come up a lot, and I'll definately put the answer on my website.

 to add the map to your playable terrain:

convert the map.bmp to 256 colour
save  it as   .. /mapname/texsrc/mapname.bmp
build the terrain

note: The grayscale map you make for BMP2MAP makes a much better clipboard map (imo) but if you dont know what i'm talking about.. you've got some reading to do.
