A friend turned me on to this... It's got to be the best deal I've seen for web hosts yet:

http://www.surpasshosting.com

STARTER: $9.99 per year
5mb space
100mb bandwith
1 email acct

LEARNER: $23.50 per year
300 mb space
4 gb bandwidth
5 email

LITE: $4 per month
125mb space
5 gb bandwidth
15 email

etc...

It's worth a look...

No point to web hosting without CGI/PHP(or even just ASP/JSP) and at least mysql support.  And screw bandwidth limits.

As near as I can tell, the only difference between the "Standard" package and the "Extreme" package is bandwidth limits.

Sure... you can go in with the attitude of "screw bandwidth limits" but that's the nature of the game unless you own your own servers and have a static IP. (Even then, if it's through an ISP, most of them have restrictions against servers down deep in the small print.)
