Sabre Is On Holiday and I am putting up this week set up for him:

 Tunisia ‘43

Loosely models the Tunisa area of operation in 1943 timeframe. However, I’m primarily going for a balanced plane set.

Plane Set –

Allies:
CV1 – F4F, SBD, TBM, LVT (both)
CV2 – Sea Hurricane (Hurri-IIC), TBM, LVT (both)
Airfields – Spit-V, Hurri-IIC, Hurri-IID, P-40E, Boston-III, B-17 (1 or 2 rear fields), C-47, M-3, M-8, M-16, Ostwind, Panz-IV
Ports/V-fields – M-3, M-8, M-16, Ostwind, Panz-IV, PT (where spawn points allow)

Axis – Bf109E-4, Bf109F-4, Bf110C-4, C202, Ju87, Ju88, C-47, M-3, M-8, M-16, Ostwind, Panz-IV, Tiger-I (limited fields, perked 10 pts)
Ports/V-fields – M-3, M-8, M-16, Ostwind, Panz-IV, Tiger-I (limited fields, perked 10 pts), PT (where spawn points allow)

Design Notes: Uses standard Axis and Allies base assignments. Left out the Bf109G-2/G-6 for balance’ sake. Added the Hurri-IID to provide extra anti-tank punch to counter the German Tiger. All other settings are typical CT values (Ack lethality 0.7, etc.)

Sabre Will be back This weakend or early Next week, He hopes you all enjoy this very much.:)

i'd suggest dumping the osti's...
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.

QUESTION: Are the spawn points for armor put in when the maps are designed or set up each time the terrain is loaded into the arena?

If so please remember us guys that like to drive armor every now and then. Tough to drive a tank for 30 minutes just to get to a target.

entry points (spawn) are added by the map maker and can not be tweaked by the CMS.

In the tunisia map the sector are smaller then the 25 x 25 standard. There are great spawn points and not so great spawn points. The best GV battles are in the South East corner. Theres a set gv barricades with 37 mm manned ack mixed in with several strategically placed shore batteries that can be used as artillery.

Tunisia is one of the best CT maps however it sux for scenario because of the closeness of everything. Unfortunately the event CMs dont ever listen when this gets pointed out.  Thats another story :)

I am shure they were howeaver sabre felt that the spit V and the 109F were a decent match up and chose to keep it simple and balanced, while it is not 100% historical it is prety balanced and should be fun to play.

Sabre would be hear answering for himself but is out of town on holiday, he will be back this weakend or early next week.
