Squad Rooms

Are there any plans to develop Squad Rooms, where memebers of a Squad could 'meet' when logging on or for briefing purposes?

Or is there already a way of achieveing this?

Kinda like the briefing rooms in AW3? Cool idea. Course if yer a squad just meet in the tower and use the squad channel.

But it would be nice to be able to have a map with the mission parameters laid out on it and discuss any questions regarding same.

Fox means a way of showing who is in the tower at a particular field. It's a useful facility that can't be that hard to organise.
Hitech?

Must admit this is one of my "most missed" features from AW.  The ability to log on and drop into either Officers Club, HQ or an Airfield and actually 'see' who is around makes all the difference.  I know there is a room button, but that seems to show who is in the sector and is not dynamic.

Just hit the room button when you are in the tower or map room.  Use channel 3 to talk to people in the room.

The squad channel does the same. Although you just don't see a list of who is on it in a static briefing room view.
And you can see who is on from the squad by clicking roster and sorting by squad. Clunkier than AW?  Yes but we can do what is being asked with what we have today.

Thanks for the replies, I guess there is a work-around, but I suppose I was thinking of something more in line with the old AW3 briefing room.

On another topic, has anyone got any idea why Roger Wilco might be locking up AH whenever its enabled?  Nothing fancy about my PC, Asus CUSL2 MB, PentiumIII 1GHz, GForce MX video card, but not only can't I hear any RW, even when tuned to a live channel, it also locks up AH whenever I launch it. The only solution seems to be to un-install RW, launch AH, install RW, play, disable RW, close down AH.

A real pain.

Latest version of RW being used, but the same result with version 1.0. - and yes, I've cleaned down the registry etc when removing either version !

Any ideas would be welcomed

Yes, I bet I know why.

Roger Wilco in Direct Sound recording mode combined with DX8 = bad juju.  Go into RW and configure it for Wav recording and it should work fine.

I really miss this feature as well. It added so much the "feeling" of actually being there. It would be great to see it make it into AH someday.

Hmmm - if only!  I'm already using Wav recording (tried Direct Sound), and I'm still on DX7a  - guess I'll have to continue using the loud-hailer ! (and for those in the UK - practising my Dam-Busters {Carling Black Label}intercom speech) - when are we going to get a Dam by the way - that would be a riot wouldn't it.
