LOL, sure Karnak, maybe a NewB would believe it, they've never experienced 125mp/h winds :D

There was one seaplane nicknamed the 'Flying Porcupine' due to the inordinate amount of guns sticking out of it. Quick link http://www.vectorsite.net/avsund.html Could be too big for those cleats though ;)

tnx for the link Trikky.

I once heared a story of a German U-boat Captain: he had to go up for air and got attacked by an "Emily", they shot at it and their 20mm bullets just bounced of the cockpit, and saw the both wings fully lightened by firing guns

the BOTH WINGS FULLY BRIZZLED WITH GUNS!!!

While the Short Sunderland is freakishly too large for the launching platforms, there are many pics of SB2U Kingfisher seaplanes on them....

I know how he does it I've done it before!

In map editor you set the object as "Runway" then u can land without blowing up (if ur going about 90mph) but still extreemly hard.

actully its done by turning collisions off and putting the wind to about 120 mph then just hovering above the hanger and lightly touching down

I did not cheated in any way. bring flaps to lowest, ride the stall horn, and play with throttle carefully.

no wind. no playing with collisions.

hmm, very usefull those seaplane-ramps.....if we had seaplanes like that Vought Kingfisher of Ridge and the Grumman J2F-6 'Duck'
or the Consolidated PBY Catalina.

Consolidated PBY Catalina.
