Yesterday on the SFMA map (aka Lake Pelvis) we Knights had Rook Tigers on our field (A53).  I upped a Hurricane IID with the 40mms to see if they might scratch the Tiger's armor a little.  (FYI:  no luck with them.)

I dove on a Tiger in our town, hit it, took some machine gun hits, and I believe then clipped a wing on a building, crashing.  Message:  "airbull shot you down"

Then, seconds later, this message:  "airbull successfully lands 3 kills in Tiger I"

How could that be possible?  The field was still ours, and was for about another 10 minutes.  (Even if airbull wasn't the tank I strafed in the town, no one could have landed successfully after shooting me down; I was only in the air about 1 minute.)

I tried contacting airbull on private channel, but got no response.

Something very wrong here.

U can allways do a "landed succesfully" on a enemy base as long as u exit on the correct place , runway , city , near VH , not just in tiger but all planes and vehicles.

As long as there no ack to tear u up, there is no problem landing ok at enemy field!  something HT should look in too.

Yeah but if you weren't able to do that, how could you possibly convince someone to take a Tiger for an attack on an enemy base if the chances of them losing the perks were so high? It would give the defenders a considerable advantage because they could roll and exit perk tanks at will whereas the attacking force would only be able to exit successfully if they captured the field. Without a capture, the only hope is with trying to make it to a safe landing spot, which can be tough anyway.

A way to maybe address this would be to have certain park spots for gvs, not near the city or field but somewhere accessible, where you could safely exit no matter which country. That way you wouldn't have someone camping the runways with a flak who has no fear of death.

Leave the ability to land a/c at an enemy field though  -  I like pulling up to the tower and making fun of the enemy :)

If you're on an enemy field, as long as you exit on a hard surface like the runway, taxiway or inside one of the hangers, you'll get the successful landing message.  Same goes for if you land or drive to the VH and exit within the light brown circle that the VH sits on.  For the towns, as long as you exit your vehicle or plane on one of the dirt roads in the town, you'll get the successful landing message.

I would prefer this:
Park an undamaged GV anywhere  except within a mile or so of an enemy field and exit as a "Landing" (i.e. don't force people to do the boring drive back).  Park a damaged GV anywhere except friendly field or town = "Ditch" with kill awarded (i.e. you abandoned your vehicle and you yourself are safe but your vehicle is lost).  Land a plane at any enemy field = "Capture".  Land a plane at friendly field or town, even on grass = "Landing".
