I can never made someone be quiet but we have the squelch command in AH.
Today I met a player who was typing disgusting word in MA. And for a while later when I relogged in Main Arena , he was still flying and typing these word.

Now we must type squelch command for the same person whenever we log.

HTC , please help the comfortable circumstance of consumer.

I never want to see the words by the player who was squelched once till I unsquelch that player.
And its also needed check list who I squelch.

I understand you but cant you just tell to that person not to use words which insult you. Maybe that person dont know about this?

It is different problem from that I suggest that trying to make him stop what he types or says.
In fact , there are a few players who never stops bad behaivier or typing offensive words.

We do need a permanent squelch list feature.  Maybe we get it next version.

yeah having to type .squelch 1 everytime i get on could easily be replaced by giving me the option to permasquelch ch 1.

that'd be great and save me a few seconds.

The couple of times I've asked players to not use coarse language they have replied to the effect of "get a life and squelch if you don't like it".  They seem to think that if someone is offended then it is not their problem and they have no need to adjust their behaviour.

I heard that there were monitors around at some stage who could squelch people if they were continually abusive or offensive.  Maybe they need to be more active.  There seem to be a lot more people in the MA lately who feel the need to push the language filter envelope.

Built-in persistent squelching would be a nice feature but you can do pretty much the same thing with one of the many macro utilities available for download.
