icons disappearing below the nose, under the wings/tail, in the smoke/clouds is all well and good. I love it.
The problem is the canopy braces. In the real world we could move our heads in less than a second to see around the braces. In AH we cannot, as you first must hold the appropiate view key, then use the cursor keys/pgup/pgdn to look around the bars. This is a major handicap, especially in birds like the zeke and macchis. I was flying a zeke on point defense at 27 tonight and the icons kept poping on and off so much because of the canopy braces that I started wondering if I was going to have some kind of siezure (and got a nice headache from it). This one needs a good bit of work IMO.
And let's not forget the icons disappearing when you lay the gunsights of the Lanc on a bandit (all 3 sights are affected in places) and the ostwind when the gun is near the horizontal position. Almost seems as though the engine thinks there's a solid plate across the gap where the sight looks through the armor ring.
