We weren't threatening them until they admitted they were violating a UN agreement.

UN: "We noticed you guys are messing around with an offline, and UN mandated to remain offline, nuclear reactor."

NK: "Yeah, hey... we also got a nuke or two we ain't supposed to have."

UN: "Well, stop messing around with the reactor."

NK: "Sure guy." Meanwhile removing monitoring equipment.

US: "Stop that, "

NK: "Make us"

Sure seems like we're bullying them poor N Koreans around.

Yep, if it wasn't for the permanent seats on the UN Security Council, they might be more effective.  Ready to give up yours US?
