is it possible to make star shells now  to use like smoke shells
since u got the new lighting source going?

fire them out like smoke shells either have them on ground like smoke shells but light up the sourrounding area say for 1.5k, or have them float down with a tiny chute.

could do same with 5" guns on TFs to light up enemy TGs for night battles.

They DON'T have dynamic lighting!

Go into offline mode and set it to night, then drop bombs and tell me if you see a flash.  You don't, because the client is just cheating and doing the lighting manually, not using directx's lighting stuff.

Flashing cockpit != dynamic lighting support, it's just a neat trick to make things look better that doesn't require the major re-architecturing/cpu impact that real dynamic lighting would.
