HTC would it be possible.......

would it be possible to have one map where the ground is modeled in more detail?

At the moment with the addition of roads I have found whenever i am in a vehicle and i cross a road and cant help but follow it   :)
they are a great addition. But what you sometimes find is that road will go up an almost verticle mountainside and its a SLOW(  :p) process gettting up those hills!

What id like to see is a little more detail near roads etc so that either they follow the easier or less steep gradients, or the parts where they do cross steep ridges are remodeled to thin valleys or perhaps tunnels?
I know this would take up more processing power for the player who flies near them but this is why I was asking for a new map.One that is perhaps smaller but more tuned to ground vehicles.
With roads that allow fast access into enemy territory what we would need is a means to control these  roads so choke points like bridges would be perfect or valley passes?
Imagine having precarious roads along the sides of mountains or bridges that can be repaired and destroyed.
The Air war would be just as important with bombings /jabo etc playing greater roles along with the usual air to air stuff but perhaps we would begin to see ground assaults when it doesnt take 30 minutes to climb a hill to an enemy base? instead that time is spend driving along roads and fighting for the control of them.

just got thinking about it whilst driving a panzer around steep hills. If there was a road that was fast but the longer route i would have used that time driving around a mountain pass or trying to cross a bridge thats a prime target rather than creeping at 2 mph only to crest a hill and see the enemy base is on the NEXT ridge   :).

Maybe driving on the roads would not affect GV speed when going upslope, just an icentive for GVs drivers, and good for aircraft pilots too ... straffing the roads.
Dat jugs bro.
