Hmm, I'm not artsy so I don't get it.  However, this idea does have merit.  Make the enclosures a little bigger - just big enough for a calf to fit in - squeeze the calf in, hook him up to air/feed/waste tubes, then top it off with teriyaki sauce.  Then, once the calf has grown enough to be prime veal, take him out, and give him a transfusion, substituting his blood for more teriyaki.

mmmm, tender veal with teriyaki goodness!

Beef and Teriyaki is something I just can't stomach... instead I'd prefer a steady basting of montreal steak seasoning with frequent BBQ and montreal steak seasoning injections.

The calf may not live long, but mmmmm mmmmm.

Just wait for some innovative southerner to come up with a way to deep fat fry an entire side of beef in only 90 minutes.

Hell... they'll sell like hotcakes at Wal-Mart. :D

Moe:  "I got this fryer as surplus from the navy.  It can cook an entire cow in three minutes."

Homer Simpson:  "Awww three minutes?  But I'm hungry now!"

This is just another example of american arrogance towards other cultures . Next they'll be some stupid american group trying to make the consumption of cat and dog meat illegal . Maybe you should open a book and learn how to apreciate the art of bonsai cat growning before calling your congress person .

Wouldn't some of those "cold cathode" lights look cool stuffed in there with the kitties?  You could also put sequenced flashing LED lights along the spine, and watch them curl into interesting shapes as the kitten grew.

Lots of possibilities for "kitten mods", I see a whole new industry modelled after the computer case mod fad.  I better get a patent on it quick.

For some "real" outrage, there's a group that has pics up of kittens and cats that have been scanned in while placed on a flatbed scanner..  They don't post any images of cats that are being abused, but some of the scans are pretty amusing.  I don't have the URL but I'm sure a google search would get you some links.  I don't personally think the cat scanning is any worse than dressing up a poodle for a dog show, but apparently the same people that get outraged by the bonsai kittens also hate the kitten scans, go figure

For more pet outrage, read the story on CNN.com about the tennessee troopers that mistakenly stopped a car based on an incorrect carjacking report, then as the family (face down in the dirt) pleaded for the cops to close the car doors so the family dogs wouldn't get out, the cops freaked out and shot their dog in the face with a shotgun.  CNN has video of the whole thing... The dog sure LOOKS friendly, it's just a tiny little thing trying to play with the flashlight, wagging it's tail so happy to be out of the car, then BOOM no more puppy.

Oh yea, the cops won't apologize either.  Stupid f**king hick cops can't even do a felony stop on a vacationing family without screwing up...   Add Tennessee to the list of states to stay away from.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

Hey Shark 88,
Did ya know the word "gullible" is being taken out of the English dictionary?
Would you be interested in buying the Golden Gate bridge? I could let you have it for $20,000...

I agree 100% percent, Shark88.

And that's not all.

In Korea they use 'Kantanawaki' - a rough transaltion would be 'Beautiful druggie' and I'll tell you why. These are specially bred Irish Wolfhounds with a surgically created LEM (Liquid Exchange Membrane) sewn into their testicles. A drug addict uses a portable LEM and straps it to his arm, before hooking it to the dog's 'equipment'. A pressure hyperdermic syringe then injects whatever narcotic you like into the dog, and by the process of Ingestive Narcotic Genitive, the drugs are transferred from the dog to the man. This avoids any nasty side-effects such as cold turkey, and passes these onto the dog. How disgusting is that! Apparently the US military designed this LEM-ING technology in the 1950s and, as usual, it fell into the wrong hands.

This truly is the twisted, smacked-up brain-wrong of a one-off man-mental.

Presumably, this practice is the source of the charming British term "the dog's bollocks" meaning something that's excellent. :D

I'm shocked at your callous disregard for the plight of those poor animals. This is no time for joking!

Already, there are Kantanawaki 'bars' opening in down-town Tokyo, and experts predict it will be as big as Karaoke. Oh, the humanity... is there any hope for our species?
