some of my members have shown interest in participating in TOD's we need more information. On everything

 Flossy you have my email if you can drop me a line or two or any information I would greatly appreciate it thanks. Now I work every other weekend is that going to be a problem?

Hi VgasX.... OK, there are two TODs, the Friday TOD and the Sunday TOD.  Friday's is held at 23.00 Eastern and Sundays is at 15.00 Eastern.  Both are in the Special Events Arena.

Go here to register for the Friday TOD:  http://events.simladder.com/tod_register.php  or here to register for the Sunday TOD:  http://events.simladder.com/tod_register_sat.php

After you have registered, sling will get in touch to let you know when your squad has been activated.... after that, the TODs are each three weeks long, with one week's break between each one.  You don't have to be at each one yourself, as long as your minimum committed number can be there for each frame.....

You can get more details from the TOD website.  I can certainly send you an email if you need any more information - or feel free to drop me one.

You could fly as a guest for a TOD, or even 1 frame, to see what happens.

Andy is right, of course..... you can always fly as guests for other squads while waiting for activation, or even to decide if you like them at all.    Just please ask here first for a guest spot, as walkons are not allowed....

Could you light the fires under those in charge to spend a minute one day and put those links you mentioned above on the events page that has all those forum links on it?

As many times as I've had to dig around searching for the #$@# things in the last month or so, it probably could save somebody some time.

I have Frontpage 2000 and I'll be willing to help out, if necessary.

( I can also do it in raw html.. if that's what it takes )

Sorry Drone....cant do it.  They used to all be there, but the "Events Site" was not part of HTC's website.  It was and still is partially hosted on Exile's webspace.  HTC is in the process of rebuilding and designing an Events Site on their site since Exile stepped down a while back.  We are lucky that Exile continues to let us use his space, but unfortunately until HTC gets done with the new site we have to use what we can.

OK, VgasX.... well, if you decide to fly in the Sunday TOD, you will definitely see me there, as I do Setup/Hosting for alternate Sunday TODs....    If you opt for Fridays, though, I'm afraid I'll be tucked up in bed at the time they are held....

ROFL!  Love the "orphanage" bit!   That particular page forms the beginnings of the new official HTC Events site, however.  What will be transferring is everything which is currently at Exile's site....
