Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

Does it have to do somethig with putting... something... in... somewhere... or something?

I was wondering the same thing. Seems like the board has degenerated back to the old style.

Although entertaining, it is not conducive toward attracting and maintaining new subscribers.

I know from experience, there is little more dauting to a new poster than a rather hostile message board.

There are plenty of things that can be difficult for new players to overcome. Server Lock Ups, the high learning curve, the Channel 1 situation, bugs, hacks, cheats, etc.

But in this particular case, we were talking about the message board.

I don't think HT was refrring to disagreement or debate on this board. That's healthy. I believe the problem was the flame fests that were and are becoming more common again.

I'm no angel. I've made my share of personal attacks. I try to avoid it, but often fail to. If I said otherwise, I'd be lying and claiming to be more than human.

I can count on one hand the number of folks on this board who are not guilty of personal attacks and flames at one time or another.
