Al Sharpton on Meet the Press
« on: January 13, 2003, 12:26:37 PM »
Anybody see that?  I watched about 10 minutes of it, until my gorge began to rise.  Still can't remember what he was talking about.

Oh wait!  Part of the time he was talking about running for president.

Mmmph!  Mmmph!   Gasp!   Snicker!  Gurgle!

I'm doing a little better at controlling my mirth.  Has anyone noticed?

Hehehehahahahhahahahah.  Whoop!

Regards, Shuckins

The man is a putz...but wears a nice Rolex and has $1,500 suits so that must mean he is important.

The Dems must be squirmy about this candidacy.

A certain segment of liberal voters will automatically vote for him  because he's a black man... syphoning off votes from Lieberman.
This is gonna be fun (rubs hands together)  :p

sharpton is the least despicable candiate yet from either party. the fact that he prefers to express is feelings rather than be tactful on controversial subjects gets him more enemies than the common fence siting pol, but it makes him more honest too. Tawana Brawley is his only real negative (the rest seem to be mischaracterizations floated out by the press back when they were still in love w/ jesse jackson) - & that was in '88 (before mccain's S&L crap became public & was subsequently forgiven & forgotten) and his only real fault was that he believed a liar. he's got no constituency in NH, though, so he is doomed to fail

As a tried and true Chicago Democrat (Moderate) I have to admit that people like this are an embarrassment.  Not because of his race, but his inability to see that Equal Rights includes everyone, not just Africans.  Not to mention he sounds just like Don King when he's speaking.  All I can say is that he's a clown.  Even the NAACP thinks he's an Opportunist.  The fortunate thing about this is that there is NO WAY in hell he will get past the primary. The tragic part is that the Dems have their tails in the wind and are not putting forth a viable candidate.  Leiberman doesn’t have a farts chance in a windstorm.
