Jeeze look how high those things sat!  They are death-traps.  I bet none of the tankers in the picture survived the war.

Sherman tankers survived the war.;)

Rams tanks did not see combat but were used for training in Canada.

Later Rams had the turret removed and were used as APCs(Kangaroo). The chassis was used for the Sexton and as a tractor for the 17pdr AT gun.

It is true some SHerman Tankers were blown clear out of the tank, they would pick up the pices and put them back together.

 Or Am I thinking of Humpty Dumpty....?
