Hehehe... that's funny.  Usually you start out calling them either or depending on what you are talking about.  I went a whole weekend with the AKs being called "DJ".

It usually migrates to first name status once everyone is comfortable.  And that's when the fun starts. :D

At large gatherings, best to call them by handle, or shorten the name as "DJ" suggested.  At small gatherings, I usually do first names.  Even my son calls me by my handle when we hook on HTH on the mic, its pretty funny :)

Nah, but seriously, I think I didnt write about it before but last year I had a good time with Funked and mietla, even though I was a little TOO DRUNK (never try to drink as much as a man the size of Funked) and had a massive hangover during the Airshow.

But I felt better when I met the P-38 pilots.
