Mouse pointer
« on: January 14, 2003, 05:41:29 AM »
I`ve downloaded the latest patch and the game plays ok. However, when I use my mouse to click on the clipboard the following happens:

My mouse pointer drags a white screen across the main screen.
Imagine the mouse pointer as the "Top Left" of a white box, so whenever I use/move my mouse to the left, it wipes out the whole screen...... Move it to the right and down and the screen re-appears..
Anyone got any (reasonable) responses???

Sounds like I video driver.  Go into safe mode remove all video drivers, reboot, reinstall video driver.  Then DL DX9 and install it, or re-install 8.1

AV8 ... you accidently deleted the cursor.bmp file in the

c:\program files\htc\aces high directory ...

this happens and AH has no image for the cursor. it then uses a 1024x768 blank image for the cursor.

check out THIS post .. if that is what you see ... download the cursor.bmp file i attached in that thread.

hope it helps
I don't know what to put here yet.

well actually i was @ work and was too lazy to tell the whole story ... LOL

it actually defaulst to a blank image the same as your max resolution... i just assumed you were running 1024x768 to shorten the remark :D

did this fix the problem though?
