Frame 1.
Axis: Primary and Secondary objectives met.
Allies: failed objectives.
Frame 1 Axis.

Frame 2.
Axis: Primary and Secondary objectives not met. Captured town next to V57.
Allies: Primary Met. Secondary failed.
Frame 2 Allies.

Frame 3.
Axis: Primary objectives not met. Secondary success.
Allies: Primary objectives met. Secondary failed.
Frame 2 Allies. Part win by Axis.

The initial frame went very well for the Axis. Crete is occupied 50% by both forces, Allies having lost 50% of their land and not recapturing any town available.

Result. Standoff. With 50% of the island still under Axis control, Crete is locked in a battle that will take more resources and lives.

Historically, this battle has followed almost exactly as the real one did back in the spring of 1941.  Initial Axis success followed by setbacks and losses on both sides.

I would invite the CO's of each frame to email me on how this TOD could of run better (apart from the email snafu last week). We strive at Aces High to make each event a better place and I would appreciate all comments.

This is a joke is it not?

We wiped tem all out and was ordered to RTB by the CM, because we had no opposition. How can that be a part win by the Axis?

Was great fun anyway, even though I did rip my wings diving on a stukka. The rest of the squad survived with 7 kills.
