HOST CONNECTION LOST and Perk Points
« on: January 08, 2002, 01:07:00 AM »
I think the Me262 MIGHT be a fun plane to dogfight in but I wouldn't know because EVERY time I fly it I get a HOST CONNECTION LOST message!!

The typical scenario is as follows.

- I get a 262 and launch from a base
- I climb away from the base and get up to around 20K
- Once at altitude I go looking for a fight
- I find a fight
- I enter the fight area
- I see my first target and begin to roll in for the kill
- HOST CONNECTION LOST

The strange thing is I am still connected to the internet, can still browse the internet, I dont loose connection with Roger Wilco and I can immediately reconnect to AH.

I just want to know if there is some secret command like " .boottheperkplaneguysohewontk illme " command that I don't know about.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a highter disconnect rate when flying perked planes?

Of the 4 262's i lost last tour 3 were from disco, 2 being from server dumps that i had no control over.  And yes it seems odd, I get host disco's more often then in regular planes.  Of my discos last tour 80% were in perk planes go figure  :(

I lost a 262 to disco Sunday night. Was hoping perk points weren't lost, but they were.   :(
